Cincinnati officials will ask city council to proceed with plans for a $94 million apartment tower at the current Pogue’s Garage site that will include a grocery store for downtown at a meeting today, WCPO reports.

The city’s economic development director, Odis Jones, said he plans to ask council to approve a $12 million loan to developer Flaherty & Collins for the project, which was designed by RTKL Associates. That money will pay for 650 parking spaces that will be available at the site for public use, 300 spaces that will be reserved for the building’s residents and 50 ground-level spaces that will be free for grocery store customers.
